A small lot, 100% Paso Robles Syrah that is lush with mocha and black cherry notes. A complex blend of smoky spices on the palate. Like all Peachy Canyon's low production wines, processed and punched down by hand.

Rich and intense from the very beginning, our 2012 Syrah opens with fruit and spice aromas of sarsaparilla, raspberry, plum, and cherry. A swirl and sip reveals deeper aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, game, and vanilla bean. A round and full-bodied structure ends on a long, tantalizing finish with the promise of much more to come.
100% Voladores Vineyard
This Syrah was picked on one of the last days of the 2012 harvest, which allowed the grapes to fully ripen and develop character. The fruit was carefully processed and placed in bins to ferment. The cap was punched down by hand three times a day, and after the fermentation it was pressed in baskets. After pressing, it was racked to a blend of French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels to age for 21 months.
