Westside

"This well-priced wine shows deep aromas of black currant and kirsch bolstered by soft cola, clove and sassafras notes. The palate is framed by a rocky, volcanic minerality and seductive structure that unveils vanilla, minty herbs and rich rhubarb."

Flush with ripe fruit and rich baking spices, the 2014 Westside is a bold and varietally true Zinfandel. The bottle opens with aromas of black plum, walnut, and a cabinet’s worth of anise, allspice, nutmeg, and cocoa. On the palate, look for red and black cherry, huckleberry, and dessert spices like vanilla and clove. Lush fruit and supple tannins lend structure to this delectable Zin.

Production Notes
The 2015 Westside started with gently hand harvesting fruit from a select group of high quality vineyards in Paso Robles. The fruit was carefully sorted and destemmed into tanks and fermented in stainless steel tanks until dry. The wine was racked to barrel and aged for 16 months in 30% new oak.

We love Peachy Canyon Westside it is our go to wine for BBQ Tri Tip, Ribs and Brisket because of it's spices and berry flavors that compliment the BBQ rub or sauce.
