Our Rhône blend this year delves into a swath of new flavors both fruit-forward and earth toned. The nose carries distinct aromas of fresh fig and blueberry jam complemented by allspice, white pepper, and cherry cola, and the palate is well-structured with round oak tannins. Defined notes of boysenberry, autumn leaves, and sarsaparilla lead into a full-bodied, generous finish.

Tasting Notes
"The wine opens with aromatics of white pepper, anise, prune and red cherry. This leads to medium to heavy weight flavors of red cherry, rose petals, red raspberry, pomegranate and hints of leather. The bright minerality combines nicely with the dense fruit flavors in this excellent new release by Peachy Canyon. (Best 2016-2025)" - June, 2016 (OB) International Wine Report

Production Notes
The Odd One is a classic Rhone blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre. After meticulous sorting and careful processing, the fruit for this Odd One was punched down by hand 3 times daily. The pumice was delicately pressed in baskets, yielding this complex wine. The Odd One was then racked to a blend of French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels to age for 17 months.
