Peachy Canyon Winery, a small family winery, located on the
Central Coastal in Paso Robles, California.
Our Estate Vineyards are all sustainable farmed. We compost all byproducts from the winery and reintroduce it to our soils every other year. We also grow barley in between our vines rows to help prevent erosion during the winter months. Once spring arrives, we mow and disk the barley back into the soil. During the growing year, we use agressive canopy management practices to minimize the risk of mildew and reduces the need to spray. Weed control is done mostly by hand, with some spot spraying. Pests are managed by introducing beneficial insects such as ladybugs, lacewings and praying mantis. Organic pesticides has been used but only when our crops are in dier straits.
Snow Vineyard
Snow Vineyard has traditional head trained vines that make for low yields and high quality Zinfandel. This vineyard requires a lot of work because it is hand pruned and hand picked. The attentive care given to this vineyard allows these vines to have the perfect balance between fruit loadand canopy growth. Balance is the key to keeping this vineyard healthy and the fruit unique to its site. Snow is the hottest growing site of our four Estate Vineyards.

Old School House Vineyard
This vineyard has the complete opposite growing conditions than the Snow Vineyard and is what makes the Old School House unique. This vineyard lies within the Templeton Gap which has a large coastal influence that greatly impacts the growing season. Lower degree days and more fog cover, allows the fruit to hang on the vine longer. This provides a balanced wine with finesse and complexity. Cabernet Sauvignon and two different Zinfandel blocks that are separated by a seasonal creek make up our Old School House Vineyard.

Mustang Springs Ranch
This vineyard wraps around the winery and provides us with an array of different grape varieties. The vines are layered out in a valley between two hills that help provide warm days and cool nights. Low yields and hands on farming keep our vines healthy and provide the highest quality fruit. Four different clones of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Malbec and Petite Verdot make up this vineyard. Thirty more acres are in the planning stages to be planted in the near future.

Mustard Creek Vineyard
Mustard Creek Vineyard was newly replanted 4 years ago from Chardonnay to Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Zinfandel sits on steep rocky slopes and gentle rolling hills for the Petite Sirah make for a optimum growing site. This vineyard was built to ensure each plant receives the perfect balance of sun exposure and air flow. One cluster per shoot provides the winery with even ripening amongst both varieties.
