This wine is an example of an exceptional Cabernet Franc. Tank fermented, 13 day fermentation, bladder press, 35% new French Oak barrels and racked wine two times per day. Menthol, floral, garnet color, light smoky notes.

"Bordeaux style" blend. This wine has a dark purple color and is full bodied. It fills the palate, is spicy up front, and has a long finish, alongside espresso and dark berries.

The wine used to for the Zinfandel Port is aged in barrels for several years. We do not rack, top or S02 the barrels. The skin to juice ratio is minimal and makes for dry fermentation. The lots are very high in sugar and are extremely hard to punch down because of the shriveled berries. The wine was then gently basket pressed and aged in neutral barrels.

Beautifully balanced with minty cloves and minerality that are complimented by spice and a hint of sweet chocolate.

This wine has great depth visually and on the palate. By fermenting the Petite Sirah with the Zinfandel, it provides a solid back bone for structure but does not over power the zinfandel characteristics of blueberry and spice that are dominant.

This section of the Mustang Springs Vineyard was meticulously farmed to one cluster per shoot. Once ripe, the fruit was hand picked early in the morning and then cold soaked for three days. After a ten day fermentation, the wine was basket pressed and aged in American and French hybrid barrels. The perfectly balanced fruit from this vineyard is very apparent in the flavors of this wine. Mild sweet vanilla, light spices and blackberry essence. An elegant wine with a full mouth feel.
