2006 Mr. Wilson's Merlot
Beautiful dark purple hues carry bright flavors of cherry. A medium body wine that dances on the nose and palate. This is a very stylish merlot.

| Vinification: |
Cold soaked in a tank for 48 hours and inoculated with ICV-D80. Pump over performed 2 times a day with venturi and irrigator. The cap was broken at the end of each pump over by hand. When fermentation had stared we introduced more oxygen by running juice through a screen to maintain a healthy and clean ferment. We then gently press into barrels of 30% new oak to go through malolactic fermentation. |
