2018       Peachy Canyon Winery  Zinfandel Bailey

Dark, glistening ruby. Spice-accented red and dark berry preserve, licorice and espresso scents show sharp delineation and pick up a suave floral quality with air. Shows very good depth as well as vivacity on the palate, offering intense blueberry, cherry, mulberry and violet pastille flavors and a sweetening touch of vanilla. Finishes with superb persistence and rounded, even tannins that frame repeating cherry and floral notes. Raised in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels. -- Josh Raynolds

Dark, vivid garnet. Primary red and dark berry scents are accompanied by suggestions of musky earth and dried flowers. Sweet and expansive on the palate, offering jammy black raspberry and cherry compote flavors that are sharpened by a peppery element.
