24.9-25.7 Brix at Harvest
Aromas of leather, tobacco, black currants, and petrichor let you know that you are drinking something different. Smokey and meaty with gritty tannins, concentrated flavors of ripe black cherries, blackberries, and strawberry rhubarb pie make this wine spectacular.
100% Adelaida District
54% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 21% Mourvedre
Grapes for this wine were hand-picked separately, double sorted and gently removed from their stems prior to fermentation. The caps were punched down by hand three times a day throughout the ferment. Once the fermentation process was complete, the skins were gently pressed in baskets, yielding components of this elegant wine. Racked once and blended after malolactic fermentation, this wine was aged in once-used French Oak barriques for 18 months prior to bottling.
