Reviews

"Bright purple. Oak-spiced dark berries and cola on the expressive nose. Plush and open-knit, offering sweet blackberry and cassis flavors and a jolt of vanilla. Dusty tannins shape the persistent finish, which leaves smoke and mocha notes behind." — Josh Raynolds, Vinous

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
"Violet color. Attractive aromas and flavors of vanilla nut brittle, spicy berry pie, butter roasted nuts, and delicate mint and micro-herbs with a silky, bright, fruity medium-to-full body and a tingling, distinctive, long pickled berries and beets, honey, and spiced watermelon finish with fine, well-integrated tannins and light oak. A toothsome and wonderfully spicy petit verdot charmer." - Tastings.com

Production Notes
This fruit was harvested over a period of several weeks to attain ideal ripeness, picked in the early hours of the morning, and destemmed into fermenters. During ferment the juice was pumped over twice a day, and gently pressed after two weeks where it aged for Twenty months in French, Hungarian and American oak before bottling.
Winemaker Notes
Ms Behave Petit Verdot opens on the nose with lavish, toasty oak spices, bright strawberry, and dark fruit that float easily from the glass. Elegant notes of cigar box and cherry pie then meld together for a long, juicy finish.
