2018 DeVine Cabernet Sauvignon

The fruit for DeVine was sourced from two non- estate vineyards, and combined with Cabernet Sauvignon farmed at Mustang Springs Ranch. After fermenting in both tanks and bins, the resulting wines were gently pressed and aged separately in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. After 12 months the components of this wine were blended and allowed to meld for an additional 6 months prior to bottling. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon 

Color: Dark Garnet Aroma: Eucalyptus, gingerbread, and cinnamon mix with the smells of bright red fruits. Palate: Black cherries, currants, and nutmeg glide across your palate, with soft tannins and a nice round finish.

Tasting Notes: Partridge eye red in color, this first offering of our Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre blend is bursting with flavors of strawberries and cherries, cassis and anise; it is juicy and balanced and offers a long, sustained finish. The nose brings together scents of leather, tobacco and Tahitian vanilla.
